Hey everyone, we’re back with a new workshop series! This time we will be hosting two training sessions at Kunstinstituut Melly in Rotterdam curated by the wonderful Aqueene Wilson. This is the second training in the series, and is specifically for people from ABCSSS communities.

During this zine-making workshop, we will build on earlier community discussions to construct a shared vocabulary for the types of rest, care, and healing that we envision for ABCSSS communities. By constructing a collective zine, we will archive our conceptualizations of and associated terminologies for rest, care, and healing. In this way, the zine serves as a tool for increasing our agency and getting us closer to the care, rest and healing that we so rightfully deserve.

This zine-making workshop caters to the ABCSSS community and builds on the workshop Exploring Rest, Care, and Healing in ABCSSS Communities on Saturday, 16 April. Participants can choose to attend either one or both workshops.

We are aware that people are keen to join the TRAINING but who are, due to financial instability and worry, unable to purchase a ticket. Let us know by emailing trainings@kunstinstituutmelly.nl and we will provide a ticket free of charge and up to €20 in travel costs to be able to travel to Kunstinstituut Melly in Rotterdam.
