The decolonizing collective led by students of The Hague University of Applied Sciences are organizing a symposium 'Attempting Decoloniality: A Student-led Symposium'. You are invited to be part of the 2-day symposium on 13 and 14 May 2022. The goal is to take the first steps towards a radically inclusive decolonial movement to imagine a future where we can all thrive.

As part of the symposium, 6 ISLANDS has been invited to host the workshop 'Imaginarium: The Art of Creation'. During this session we will explore the concept of the imaginarium. What is that exactly? It's a place devoted to the imagination –– to stimulating and cultivating the imagination,  towards scientific, artistic, recreational, or spiritual ends. We will use the imaginarium as a way to channel emotions, passions, and pains into joy through creative expression. One of the many ways to do this is through the art of zine making!
