6 ISLANDS x BPOC BookClub Reads ‘Amen cu Sanger’

Join us to read and discuss ‘Amen cu Sanger’. Written by Aruban author Joshuar Gomez, ‘Amen cu Sanger’ is the first novel in Papiamento that centralizes homosexuality. For Joshuar, writing this book came from the necessity to write a relatable story that deals with sexuality while at the same time breaking barriers of what is comfortable in Aruban (literary) culture.⁣ Click on the title or poster for more info and sign up options.
