Join us for a Caribbean open mic evening full of mythological poetry and storytelling. This event follows the poetry & storytelling workshop (see our previous post). Yes, two events in one day! 🫧🪸

Have you ever been transported to a mythological place by a story you read, or wrote? Or have you ever realized, as you were hearing a poem being recited, that what you were having could only be described as a spiritual experience?

Poetry and storytelling have a special way of unlocking our collective imaginations. And myths bring us together as a community. So, with this mythological open mic, we invite you to share your poems, stories, and dreams with us and create a mythical realm together.

The Open Mic follows the Mythological Imaginations Creative Writing Workshop hosted by Juneal Holder, also held on April 13th at the Rotterdam Library, from 13:00 to 16:00. So, the perfect chance to practice your writing skills before the open mic night. Don’t forget to sign up separately if you are joining both sessions.
